This is our Gillian, looking bright-eyed and alert as she's getting healthier again. If you look closely at those gorgeous cheeks, you can still see marks where the oxygen line was taped to her face. Thanks very much to all of you who supported us and prayed for us while she was so sick. We appreciate you more than we can say. Please keep it up! She's doing so much better, but not yet back to 100%.

We're lucky to have had such excellent care in the hospital. The nurses were so fantastic with her. They were absolutely delighted when her temper started to show itself - they said it was a good sign that she was starting to feel better. One of the nurses was thrilled when she suctioned out Gillian's nose and got the dirtiest look she's ever seen from an infant. She said, "Wow. You guys are going to have your hands full." Like we said, she's a firecracker! And it was such a relief when she started acting more like herself again.

Sam on the climber! This is his favorite park. He doesn't really dig it when other kids try to play there. He needs a lot of elbow room.
