First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Sam's first day of kindergarten. He admitted to being a little nervous about it, but overall he was excited, confident ... ready. We're so proud of him. He listened to his teacher, started making some new friends. He said he was a little sad when we left, but "I didn't let my tears come out." And he didn't - he gave us both hugs, gave me a little bit of an extended snuggle, and that was it. I had to run out of the room so he didn't see my crying, but he was fine. It's time for this next step for him, and I'm confident that he's going to do great.
